I set out with the goal of taking a classic portrait and transforming it into a frosty image with a holiday feel by playing off of the beautiful blue color in her dress. First, I did some basic cropping and highlight adjustments before fixing a problem area in the image’s background. Then, I applied some small adjustments to her skin, eyes, lips and hair before creating a virtual cloud of fog around my subject. Lastly, I finish the image by adding blue stars to complete my magical frosty edit.
